Integration and Development projects are necessary where a client requires integration of disparate systems or a custom function or interface to be added to the existing toolset.  The process for the development of custom functionality begins with the gathering and refining of requirements and use cases for the component.  After the requirements and use cases are understood and documented, a detailed design can be created.  This design is used by the developers to begin the creation of the custom component.  As the component is developed it must pass through a series of stages of review and testing.

Projects of this nature allow SENA to leverage both onshore and offshore resources as required to develop the component.  Leveraging both onshore and offshore resources allows SENA to maintain costs and still produce a quality component.  SENA personnel have experience with developing to multiple API sets from various vendors, as well as experience developing on multiple platforms in multiple programming languages.
