Oracle Corporation Japan and SENA Systems Collaborate on Implementing ID Management Solutions
Tokyo, Japan, 27-June-2007 – Oracle Corporation Japan and SENA Systems announced today that they are to collaborate on implementing solutions based on Oracle Identity Management - Oracle’s ID management suite.
Currently, businesses need ways of providing and auditing appropriate accounts and authorizations for all their diverse IT systems, both in-house and external, from the viewpoint of security and compliance to strengthen their internal control. In addition, businesses need to add, update, and delete user accounts promptly when personnel data change as employees enter, leave, or change departments within the company.
Nevertheless, in Japan, there is still a shortage of experience and know-how, regarding the construction of ID infrastructure on a large scale, in order to meet the rapid growing needs. Through the new partnership, such know-how will be available based on SENA’s record of implementing and delivering over 250 engagements in this domain. This will enable smoother, more efficient implementation of ID management infrastructure for customers who have purchased or are considering Oracle ID management products. The collaboration will also further enhance Oracle’s technical support for partner companies.
SENA and Oracle have been strategic partners since 2002, involved in the construction of ID management systems for numerous businesses, notably in the financial services industry. SENA has a proven record in Europe and America regarding ID management infrastructure, especially in the financial services sector, and the two companies have already started implementing systems for several Japanese businesses.
The services provided by SENA will be as follows.
- Consulting services for Identity Management Solutions
SENA will provide consulting services for implementing ID management solutions, using its experience and knowledge based on its proven record of delivering over 250 IAM engagements at various financial institutions and other businesses. These services will include assessing the current state of customers’ current ID management processes and environment, determining business and system requirements, designing system architecture, and planning implementation step-by-step.
- Implementation and delivery of ID management systems
SENA will support the management of entire project, including technical support, customization, installation, operation, and customer support, by dispatching experts with wide-ranging experience in Europe and America. Utilizing SENA’s development center in India, the cost of project-specific development can also be reduced.
- Training in ID management systems
Strategic partners in Japan will be offered training in methodologies based on SENA’s experience and know-how, as well as in the use of Oracle products.
